Scott Gilbert wanted a nine-kilowatt solar energy system installed but his home doesn’t have a south-facing roof or enough room for a ground mount. He had an idea to remove his old patio structure that faces south and build a solar pergola. The first company that Scott contacted agreed to take on the project, but unfortunately, they didn’t come through. He contacted 12 other companies but after hearing about his idea none of them wanted to take on the project. However, Sunline Energy decided to take on the challenge and build the pergola.
